Wonnie's Hickory Smoke

Meat/Seafood
Marinate with Hickory Smoke-Flavored Teriyaki Marinade 30 min. to overnight in the refrigerator. Then B-B-Q, bake, grill, or stir fry.

Wonnie's Beef/Tofu Jerky Delight
  • 2 lbs. beef or tofu thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Hickory Smoke-Flavored
    TeriyakiMarinade
    Add marinade to meat or tofu. Mix well and let marinate for 2 hours or longer. Pre-heat oven to 150 degrees. Cook meat or tofu on oven rack for 7 to 12 hours.

Wonnie's Yakitori Sauce

Serving Suggestions
Use it to marinate and baste when barbecuing, broiling or roasting. Terrific as an all purpose seasoning.

Chicken
Marinate chicken pieces 30 minutes or longer. Cook as desired, basting with Yakitori Sauce while cooking.

Beef
Marinate tender cuts 30 minutes. Less tender cuts, one to three hours, then BBQ, bake, or grill.

Ground Beef
Add 1/4 C Yakitori Sauce to one pound of meat. Shape into patties, grill or barbecue. Great for delicious fried rice and stir fries.

Kabob
Marinate chicken, shrimp, meat, or vegetables for 30 minutes then skewer meat and cook as desired basting with Yakitori Sauce while cooking.

Wonnie's Bul Go Ki Sauce

Meat
Marinade with Wonnie's Bul Go Ki Sauce 15 minutes or longer in the refrigerator, then barbecue, bake, or grill.

Seafood
Steam fish fillets for 15 to 20 minutes, spoon on Wonnie's Bul Go Ki Sauce and serve.

Pasta or Bean Sprouts
Boil pasta or bean sprouts, rinse and drain well. Add Wonnie's Bul Go Ki Sauce mix thoroughly and serve.

Vegetables
Stir-fry/steam vegetables, add Wonnie's Bul Go Ki Sauce before cooking is complete, and serve. Quantity of Wonnie's Bul Go Ki Sauce can be adjusted according to your taste. For additional flavor, add a touch of sesame oil.

Wonnie's Mirin

Teriyaki Sauce
Mix 1/4 C dark soy sauce, 1/4 C sake, 2 Tbsp. Wonnie's Mirin and 1 Tbsp. white sugar in a small saucepan. Stir ove medium heat until sugar dissolves. Use immediately or cool and refrigerate for later use.

Teriyaki Tofu
Cut into pieces of 1 lb of firm tofu. Marinate in Teriyaki Sauce made with Wonnie's Mirin, drain. Fry in toasted sesame oil, carefully turning on each side. Add more Teriyaki Sauce and cook for 30 seconds. Remove and top with pan juices and a bit of minced scallion.

Mirin Chicken
Mix 1/3 C Wonnie's Mirin, 1/3 C soy sauce, 3 Tbsp. sesame oil, and one clove of garlic, pressed. Pour over 6 boneless chicken breasts, coating well. Marinate for two hours. Place on pan and broil within six inches of broiler, 6 to 7 minutes on each side, until chicken is cooked completely.

Wonnie's Wholly Huli Sauce

Wholly Huli Chicken
Hawaiian favorite from roadside rotisseries to fine restaurants for Rotisseries, BBQ Grill, or Ovens Marinate one whole chicken with one cup Wonnie's Wholly Huli Sauce. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, hanging on roasting rack with oven at 375, or place on grill or rotisserie. Cook 1 1/2 hours or until chicken's inside temperature reaches 175.

Wholly Huli Salad Dressing
Mix 1/2 C Wonnie's Wholly Huli Sauce with 1/4 cup lime juice for a tangy flavor, or mix with 1/4 C pineapple juice for a sweeter flavor. Pour over salad or serve on the side. Use straight as dipping or table condiment. Makes delicious fried rice.

Wholly Huli Stir Fry
Cut 3/4 lbs. lean beef, pork, or chicken into thin strips, sauté over medium heat in uncovered pan with 2 Tbsp. oil for 2 to 3 minutes. Add a mixture of sliced vegetables, and continue to stir for 3 minutes. Stir in 1/3 cup of Wonnie's Wholly Huli Sauce and cook for 3 minutes more. Serve over sticky rice (fancy short grain) for an authentic Hawaiian treat.
